Default Engine Codes

This might sound like a stupid question, but... The ecu wouldn't be throwing any codes if the check engine light isn't on, right? Thanks!!

But, this doesn't mean that nothing is wrong, often times your car will act up but the ECU will not pick up on anything. Perhaps, the problem being experienced isn't outside of the tolerances specified by the ECU.

Are you having problems?
