solid check engine quesition
im having problems with starting my car after putting on my turbo i tried to check codes but the check engine stays solid i searched and people say when it stays solid ecu is fried is this always or could it be cause my ecu is chipped with uberdata?thanks
I was having this problem when I first chipped my ECU, with uberdata..
Few things to check:
the map actually burned onto the chip?
disconnect the jumper, does the light go out? (take it back to stock(ECU))
Here is what my real problem was. I was driving around and the CEL would start flickering, then it stayed solid, and there was nothing I could do...
I finally pulled the ECU and looked at it, one of the golden lines (circuits) were disconnect when I must of accidently burned it with the soldering iron, so I had to solder it back together and my ECU has ran perfectly ever since.
