ok i bought an IAT sensor becuase my MAINTENANCE light flashed 10 times on my 95 integra. i for some reason thought that was the engine light and now i realise that i have both my maintenance light was flashing 10 times, now its stuck on... what does this mean? also my cars been pushin blue at only 220,000km and its been doin it for a while so the rings are not ligned up and pushin it (ima estimate around 2 weeks for this) so... i have no idea whats going on, any ideas? thx in advance

 

The maintenance light goes off every 10,000 km or whatever to remind you of the oilchange interval. It flashes when it gets close, then comes on solid when it's overdue.

Look under the edge of the dashboard, above your right knee. There's a button, facing towards the gas pedal. Push that when you first turn on the car, to reset the maintenance light.

Try a compression test, then again after squirting some oil into the spark plug holes. Bad rings will get substantially better with the oil. Maybe some of those cleaner products (seafoam or some other stuff you add to the oil) might help, but don't count on it.
