all original 1999 base model 307,000km . engine light is on, when i go to pull the code it reads like the dash light isnt throwing any code at all!! i need this light off to pass emissions in my area. what can i do apart from delete the light itself:S??

 

Your code reader says there are no codes? Something isn't right...

 

what are you using to read the codes? you need to use a scan tool, with the ignition on. parts stores do this for free.
