i got an engine code 13 BARO - atmospheric pressure sensor......anyone know where this is located......and any posible way to fix this......thanks

 

This sensor is usually located IN the ECU.

The ECU uses this sensors output, along with MAP output, to arrive at the true manifold pressure.

If the sensor is bad...its time for a new ECU. But try resetting the ECU as anger suggested to see if it comes back.

FWIW, the PA sensor on my Civic is located above the passenger side kick panel, just above the diagnostic connector.

 

On earlier models, the BARO sensor was seperate from the ECU....however, the poster did not say what his ride was.

Guess I should have added that too. Thanks for the clear up.

 

i have a b16a w/P30.....have to replace vtec solenoid and then reset ecu......ill let you guys know......thanks a lot
