Engine Block # ?
Hello,
I'm new to the board so, help me out. Please?
OK, I bought a B18C1 oof the net. When I got it in the mail, the block # and series has been ground off. . . . how do I tell that it is a B18C1 and not a B16A? I know that it's a vtec block because the oil holes on the deck shows that it is a vtec block. One more thing, should I send it back ? Will I get in trouble with it if I put it in my car? What sould I do???

Try to send it back, otherwise you just bought yourself a big paperweight!
Don't burn your hands when touching the motor.....ohh yeahhh it's hot. Where you provided pics of motor before purchasing? As with all online purchases, hefty investigating and research should of have been done before in order to avoid a situation as the one you have before you...Good luck!
