Default Engine bearings?

I am finally getting ready to rebuild my LS/VTEC after a melted piston and high boost. I am going to purchase ACL bearings for the build. I am not sure which ones I should go with, standard or race. Also, do they come in different sizes and if not, how do you size them for proper clearences? THanks for any help you can give. I did a quick search on "engine bearings" and came up with nothing.

i usually jsut assume that standard acl bearings are equivalent to Honda OEM green bearings and that race ones are slightly looser....

yeah the race acl's are not recommended for the street.
Street acl is a great bearing wich i have used many times. They are only used when tolerances allow for though

ACL bearings are Honda's green size. If you're using stock rods in your build, get the bearing codes and see if green will work for you.

I'll use my motor as an example. For mains I have four green and one brown so I would've been pretty much alright there. But for my rods I needed two blue and two black bearings which would have put the ACL bearings significantly past run out. I spent the extra scratch on my build and went with all OEM Honda bearings.
