Emergency! Need help removing rotor! Please help!
Hey guys,
I know this doesn't really really belong here, but I'm in desperate need of help. I'm trying to replace the brake rotor on my mom's 96 Land Cruiser, and I seem to have removed everything holding it on - wheel, studs, lock retainer, greese cap.
Here's a picture of where we are.
What do I do now? The thing is just...on there!

I never worked on a car like that but I worked on a bunch of hondas a Supra and a Nissan Altima. In the supra and the Altima the rotor wasn't bolted to the hub, the hondas had small screws holding the rotor but I was told that they are not needed. My word of advice, hit the **** out of it. Hit it with a big hammer on the inside of the rottor and it should pop off, I had to do that a few times. Try not to really damage the rotor incase you have to drive the car with the same rotors again.
Or get a Haines manual, my library has them for almost every car.

good call. that should work.

ya it looks like a similar setup to my year of accord, that is, the hub is in front of the rotor, and the hub is inside the knuckle. I still can't get mine to come out of the knuckle and have been too lazy since the first failure due to lack of big forceful object. Bet it will work though, especially if you are putting new rotors on anyway, won't matter much if you bash the **** out of it
Eh, I gave up. It's too much of a pain, not to mention that it's my mom's car and not mine. Oh, and it didn't help that my dad kept bitching me about the car being on jackstands every 20 seconds. He kept saying it was "broken." Car's not broken dad, it's just dismantled.
I guess working on other people's car just isn't worth it (unless they work with you). They usually don't appreciate what you do for them, and if there's ever any problems (wear and tear) they blame you for it.

I don't know if you should hit it with a big hammer....the wheel bearings are not really designed to take that....
I had to use a big *** gear puller on my old prelude. Sometimes those things are a real bitch to get off. But yeah, I'd deffinately keep at it with a hammer, it will eventually come off.
