Default Electrical load detector?!?!?!?!

My ECU is throwng a CEL code 20, which is 'electrical load detector' what does this mean?

bad earth?

Time to get a new fuse box for the engine bay.

You might need to tighten up your negative ground cable more check that first.

mite be but i would check all fuses first and check your under dash fuses as well id start with alt/sp

It would really help if you have the exact DTC. It would either be a high voltage failure or a low voltage failure and the diagnosis is different for each one.

depending on vehicle but I believe there is a service bulletin on eld's for crv's. It can be purchased seperately with the parts info off of the bulletin. Some vehicles you need to replace the fuse box though.
