Electrical Gremlins - Radiator Fan, Fuses
Amazingly, the CRX has been running relatively trouble-free compared to when I had to fix it once a week.
The problem that I am having is that my radiator fan doesn't come on automatically, so I've had it jumped for quite some time. I used tape to keep the wire that I used to jump it in place, but when it gets really hot (like 90+ degrees) the tape tends to come apart. I want to end this quick fix and do it properly.
Also, one of my fuses (the one on the furthest left of the bottom row) that is for the gauges and turn signals goes out when it gets really hot, but works fine when it's cool (under about 75 degrees). When I change the fuse it's ok, but the problem just keeps coming back and I've just kept on changing fuses up to this point. The fuses don't seem to have melted, but they just don't work very well.
Thanks in advance.

don't EF's have the fan activation sensor built onto the old school blocks? isn't it like a 2 pin connector covered by a big boot? i know the 96+ LS blocks don't have this. just a thought.

Re: Electrical Gremlins - Radiator Fan, Fuses (Teken)
I guess it looks to be the thermoswitch or something between that and the fan relay (since all of those other things are in good working order). I was just curious on whether or not the actual relay could have a problem, or is that unlikely?
As for the fuse, I'll have to look into that when I get the chance and get back to you on the condition of all the wiring etc.
