got a 2000 civic hatch... stock hp is 106 and thats where its at right now...
how high can the hp be taken and with what mods (+how much $$)
---regular mods?
---big mods such as a turbo?

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO THIS CAR ? IS THERE A LIST?

build up that awesome stock sohc engine or go DOHC non-VTEC or DOHC VTEC.

Put a turbo kit on it with 30psi of boost, then NOS the **** out of the mother ******.

 

A swap is the best thing you can do. Do some research as to what you want and what your goals are.

 

I heard that putting in a new engine disturbs the weight ratios etc... and that the car handles like **** as a result... anyone know anything about this???
where can iread about the mods that can be done?
can i reach 200 hp with about 4-5 grand?

In Japan, top o' the line civics come equipped with a b-series DOHC VTEC engine.

 

yeah gradma hits vtec leaving the dealer with her new hatch...Swap it

 

if u wanna keep your motor, swap your tranny for an ex tranny that will make a big difference in performance.
