EGT readings
Hey everyone, i just got my Egt gauge plugged and i want to know what are the normal temperature operation in my FI setup. Bone stock B18b garrett t3t4 57trim...
higher than 900 means you are melting your pistons lol, if its celcius that is.
proper placement is in the 3rd cyllinder runner 1 to 2 inches from the head. at that location, idle is around 400c, cruising is in the 600's and boost should hit up around 800. aluminum melts at 900c, so if you see anything close to that take your foot off the gas and either add more fuel or pull some timing
