I have a 88 civic sedan with a d16z6 swap. I was using boomslang wiring harness but ran into some problems with that harness with the car not starting. So i decided to upgrade to the chasebays harness which i have installed. Only thing is now that i have it installed it doesn't want to hold an idle and has a check engine code of 20 which is the electronic load detector. Its running on a p28 a02. I've checked all the grounds and everything is good. Lost on what else to do. Any help would be much appreciated.

What engine bay fuse box are you useing?
The ELD is mounted to the underside of the engine fuse box, the 88 does not have an ELD. 94

Im using the stock fusebox. In my 88 helms manual it says it has a ELD.

 

Chasebays doesnt use the eld wire to the ecu in their harness. Is this needed to run the car properly?
