Default mid engine ef engine harness help

I am in the process of wiring up my mid engine ef hatch. Gutted all the factory wiring I have a obd2b engine harness running to a jumper harness and p28. I have my switch panel setup for fuel pump, ecu, fan, starter. I wired d1 to the battery with a 7.5a fuse. a25 and b1 to my ecu switch, and grounded a26 as well as b2. Tryed to fire the car and have no spark so i called it a night, im not sure if their are other "powered grounds" that need to be grounded, if anyone has some advice or opinions on this your input is very appreciated!

sounds to me you have enough understanding to the STOCK ecu needs to make it work. re check wiring make sure the simple **** stays simple. if its all there it all will work something is missing, coil power? something els thats simple. trouble shoot it before posting on HT for your faulty wiring woews...

the reason i posted the thread is because i cannot find a engine harness diagram on the web, and their is a ecu plug that ran to the cabin harness which obviously i do not have, im pretty sure it doesnt include any engine sensors in it, which again i could be wrong. Just seeing if their is anything else that needs to be wired up, My obd2b-obd1 jumper is only using 2 of the 3 plugs on the obd2b harness, the pins on the 3rd plug are empty and that just doesnt sit right with me. Thanks for any help/advice really need to get this car running.

i am getting power to everything besides the dizzy, as i states b1,d1, and a25 are wired 12v, i have no power going to the dizzy so i wired the grounds i jumped 12v to blk/yel on the dizzy and i cant get spark. I would just repin everything directly to the ecu, basically build my own harness but im not posotive if the ecu is working as it should? this is a standalone harness to ecu so i have no way to be sure, if anyone could shed some light on hardwiring the dizzy thatd be great i have 4 or 5 dizzys that are known to be good. I really need this car running

all you need is 12v key on @ the blk/yel wire and it should work

you might want to start by checking each wire from distributer plug to the ecu plug

should only have 12v key on at the yel/blk injector wire. the brn, red, blu, yel wires run back to the ecu.

Today I got sick of the obd2b engine harness with a jumper, so i built my own harness today, cut off the obd1 ecu plugs from the jumper harness and started the journey, I used the distribution block off a old junk obd1 harness i had, wired up a25, and b1, and coil power blk/yel at dizzy through the dist block and power to the dist block is on fused switch, d1 is wired to battery with 7.5a fuse, i grounded a26,b2 to the thermostat as i could see in the my engine harness wiring diagram other than the pressure switch and vss thats all that runs to the tstat ground. I tryed to fire it up and nothing, so checked spark which is good, injectors are now holding 12v at blk yel, and 3.3volts at the ecu signal wires to the injectors while cranking.. I have around 50psi going into the fuel rail. Sprayed some starting fluid in the intake and it fired right up. I dont see what the issue could be with the injectors?

ohm the injectors out, perhaps they need a resistor box.

They are stock y8 injectors I checked resistance at a23-a1,2,3,5 and all the injectors seem to be grounded

you have to pull the clip off the injector and check the injector. not the harness
