Default ECU's

Does anyone know how to test obd1 computers? I really don't know whats wrong with mine, but my p06 doesn't turn off the fuel pump when its supposed to prime, and my p28 doesn't want to run my car.. Any help would be appreciated..

What engine setup do you have? If yours is a non-VTEC engine, a P28 won't run right. Swap out the P06 with another P06 to see if the problem goes away.

Its a y8, y7 dizzy, obd0 multipoint harness, with a obd0-obd1 conversion. Thanks for that info though, I had no idea it wouldn't run right with a non vtack ecu.
