ECU question
i heard from my tuner if i convert my OBD II to a OBD I and go hondata i won't pass emissions so i want to save myself the headache and was wondering would somthing like that will happend if i got the AEM EMS unit instead? any hlp would b great

You can just swap out the ecu for the stock one and run through emissions.. I used to swap out the ecu in the parking lot of the testing center..

After swapping the OBD-2 ECU back in, you have to drive around awhile. There's a couple readyness codes that have to be good, otherwise they'll fail you. Same thing if you try an ECU reset in the parking lot before the test...
But I guess that depends on how they run the test, & that's different in different states.

unless all your turbo parts have carb #s I would assume you wouldn't pass a visual, if you have one in your state, you will probably have to take the turbo off to pass and get an obd2 ecu. don't know for surre though
