Hi there.
Recently purchased a Honda Civic Type-S SW54 plate. This has the 1.6 Vtec engine in it and I`m thinking about playing with the ECU a little bit, just for fun. A friend of mine has a schematic for a RS232 to ISO converter, and I know I can interogate the ECU through hyperterminal, but this is all I know.
I`ve been finding it quite difficult to find information on the Type-S so anything anybody knows would be much appreciated.
I know that the engine size between the Type-R and Type-S is different, but is this the only difference ?
What type of ECU is in the car, If there is a list of DTE codes somewhere that would be very helpful aswell. If anyone has a layout and position of the diagnostices port in the car, and any recomended software to interface which would be more user friendly than hyperterminal.
