Default B20 spec

Hi

I'm needing some advice on a possible B20 engine im looking to buy, i have been offered the following spec on a Block:

• Brand new, never been cranked
• Block guard
• F20B, pistons with, modified valve pockets
• Stock rods, (balanced assy)
• This engine has a well balanced crank assembly,
• Crank B20B, blueprinted bearings (balanced assy).
• Revs to 9000rpm (race only), peak power at 8000 rpm
• The block has had oil squirters inserted to spray oil on the pistons, something the CRV does not have originally. (Expensive machining process) The oil pump is also Type R for better lubrication

Head wise at the moment i have a B16A head stripped, i also have Toda spec C cams, i basically need advice as to whether or not this block is worth going for with what i have avalible Head wise and what other components i should be looking at ie: valves, springs and retainers, i'm more into track than road driving so am not worried about day to day drivability,

any advice greatly appreciated.

Ewen
