ECU came with a wire hanging out of it...
It is attached to the ECU on the inside, obvious evidence of fuel piggyback or tuning, also it says "Rivertec" on one of the chips inside, it is a P30. I need to use this ECU this weekend as it is my only window for the swap. I currently have a virgin P28 in the car. Will the P30 run like stock without the piggyback on it? Or would something be "burned" onto the Rivertec thing, would the ECU operate without this extra chip, it's the big one in the corner. Would the P28 run a JDM B16A OBDI? Would it be too lean?
I have never heard of rivertec...
I wouldnt recommend running your b16 on the stock p28.
