Ok i just finished my motor and now my car has no power at all. When I hit the gas the car just won't move. I thought it was the timing but that wasnt it. The fuel system is good and all the ignition stuff is new like plugs, wires, etc. The only thing that I think it could be is the ECU. I also think that it is the ECU b/c i have a manuael tranny and am throwing the shift lock sensor code which is only for autos. I am also throwing the IAT code but i checked that and it is perfect. Also i do not have a knock sensor and I am not throwing that code. Does this sound like the ecu is bad??? Please any feeback would help.

I know most people say just try another ECU but its hard to find one in my area to try. I have someone that might be able to get me one tomrrow but i want to know if a bad ECU could be the problem.

This is rather important!!!

And if you are throwing ECU codes for an auto tranny, get a manual tranny ECU!
