Default Eagle rods breaking at high RPM's???

I just saw this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=518905 and it has me thinking of how good my eagle's will be. Has anyone heard of these rods snapping? I'll be using them in my built ITR setup in about a week and that thread gives me goosebumps.
Any product will break if stressed hard enough, some are weaker than others. I think he got a lemon. Whats everyone else think about these eagle rods?

I went about 1,000 miles on Eagle rods, revving to 10k, no problems. That does not mean that a rod won't snap on me tomorrow. Just remember, that many catastrophic part failures are the result of installer error. Using the proper lubricant (ARP Molylube) and the proper torque are critical on connecting rods. Parts do have defects from time to time, but unless there is a huge rash of failed Eagle rods, I would not sweat it.

IMHO if your building for NA i would have chosen another brand of rod anyway other than the eagles. even though they are a great value, they are fairly heavy for an aftermarket rod. however i think this is like the only time ive heard of them failing. i know many many many people using them. like SGT said in that post you have no idea what caused the rods to break in the first place. could have been a mis sized bearing that led to increased friction on that particular rod. the only way to tell would be too look at the rod and crank journals though. people have a bandwagon tendancy on this board and for good reason. you see someone elses motor break and it makes you worried cause no one wants to theirs to break. the same thing happens with cams. EVERY brand that i can think of(besides ef1 cause there new) has had cams break before but people still buy them and have success with them.

anyway i wouldnt worry if you already have them just make sure that when you install them you rotate the crank before you install the rods to check for binding even afer you measure the clearances then install the rods and rotate them again to make sure theres no binding again even though you have measured the rod bearing clcearances.
