Ok, strange stuff here.
I just swwapped a 98 LS engine into my 94 GSR. (Dont ask)
I have a fluidnye radiator.
Ok, now here is the wierd thing, when I drive the temp gauge will go all the way down to C, but when I come to a stop or slow down, the engine will go back to normal temp. I drove for 40 minutes on the freeway with the gauge reading "C"
Ok, heres what was done before. I used to have a built turbo gsr motor. We removed the ac, so the radiator is the only thing exposed in the front.
Im boggled. Any input? Is it bad for the car to be running on "cold"?

yes it is bad but not terrible. engine operates best at normal temp (fully warm) and also you wont be able to get any heat from the car, seems that your thermostat is stuck open or your radiator fan is on all the time. but most likely its stuck open. i had a bad thermo so i took it out and had nothing, i figured heck its a turbo car the cooler the better... wrong!! it would cool way too much and engine would never get fully warm so hense popping sounds etc..
look into your thermostat.
look into your thermostat.

Thanks for the input. What "damage" could actually incur? I still have to commute tommrow before I can fix it.
Am I just being too paranoid? It will be fixed soon though...

Go with the thermo like mentioned before, if that doesnt do it you may have too much cooling capacity for the low temps. I know a lot of people put cardboard over half their rad in the winter to keep the engine warm. Good luck.
