Driving around with ECU throwing TPS sensor code?
I was just wondering if it is harmful to drive around with this code. The car seems to run fine; only on the initial start up the idle drops and almost dies and it comes back up, but after that idle holds fine. would this code cause me to run richer than normal?
well i would say change it, tps sensors are not to much from a junkyard, i think any sensor not working is bad for the engine, IMO, figured honda built those sensors for a reason. seems logical that it could run richer or leaner if it can't read throttle right but then you have your map sensor trying to read pressure, so overall i would say fix it, a throttle body is 4 bolts and a tps is 2 screw shouldn't be to tuff
