dpfi to mpfi obd1 mini problem!
since you got a new dizzy and 2 different ecu's
it has to be your wiring
double check your mpfi instructions with another set of instructions
continuity test all wires between dist plug and ecu plug, 1 time in my friends car i found a break in the white wire causing no spark, i reran a temp wire and bam started right up

is the distributor new or used? if used it may be the the lower pickup and i would double check all your grounds, fuses and your wiring diagram heres the one i used http://www.hondaswap.com/files/dewkie-mpfi.jpg...i had the same problem on my ef hatch my fix was the distributor yours might not be the case on the plus side i did get it running but unfortunately my 2000 y8 head didnt like my 91 dx block and blew the rings so now im working on a b18 swap. good luck and i hope it helps.
