Default dpfi to mpfi obd1 mini problem!

ok iv searched and searched for an answer but all the threads seem to go dead without an anwer so i did a dpfi to mpfi obd1 mini me iv double checked all my wiring and everything i have fuel but no spark. im about half a tooth off timing because I dont a key for my adj. cam gear. but it should aleast start. Could it be my dizzy, plugs? i made sure not to mix up the thin white wire from the skinny white wire. also when i went to connect the battery i turned the switch and had a solid cel. could this mean my ecu is bad? i will plug a pr4 obd1 ecu see if thats the problem but what else could be worng?

were you getting a cel by just by turning the key on or when checking codes you got a solid cel?

list what youre saying or use comma's and periods

1. when i turn the switch on the cel stays on
2. i switched out ecus nothing

when you say nothing, no cel? no start?

could be wiring wrong or bad coil, test coil. do you have a friend who has a dizzy you can try? p06, z6 doesnt matter

code 10 is iat i believe

lol sorry about that but when i switched out the ecu's i still had a solid cel my wiring is good the p06 dizzy doesnt fit(bolts wont line up) I found that when i opened my z6 dizzy there was two wires that were corrodid that go to this black peice and it was cracked. Nah no one i know has a z6 dizzy maybe thats my problem? Maybe a new dizzy should do it? i trippled checked all my wiring made sure the thin white wire and fat white wire didnt get mixed up. Thanks for your input

the top bolt on the dizzy needs to line up only, i cut the other 2 ears off my ls dizzy to run on my lsv, worked fine.

or swap that black piece, i assume you mean the coil, and sand all the wire to make sure you have a good connection

are you sure you are getting fuel?

i was looking at a guys car once because he couldnt get it started turns out he was trying to use the dpfi fuel line and closed cap with the mpfi fuel rail, changed to the mpfi fuel line with cap, started right up. i was pretty proud of myself for catching that
