What tools do you guys use for double flaring brake lines or fuel lines? Is the oem brake line or fuel line a 45* or 37*. Let's see what you guys use and how do you like them thanks.

my local O'reilly's has made it difficult to justify the cost of a flaring kit. they sell pre-flared, metric inverted flare lines with fittings installed in multiple lengths for less than the fittings themselves would have cost me elsewhere.

That's definitely a great flaring tool. Will look into that thanks.

I just use a simple low-tech, cheap Craftsman double flare kit. Works fine and isn't too big.

But...when you need to splice in a section of custom length to existing lines...

Of course. pre-flared doesn't suit all situations. however it's good to know it's available when it does suit the situation. it can save a lot of time and money when you don't need anything more specific.
