Default Done installing new engine, problems (pics)

Ok, I've installed a 98 B18b in my 94 teg. Car runs, kinda. It has no power, sounds like rattling over 20% throttle, smells funny, stalls without gas, no cel, heat is ok, engine sounds funny under acceleration, I'm not sure exactly what I need to do to tune it but I couldn't find the PCV on this OBD2 engine. My old engine had it becide the oil filter. Now the hose is pluged. Help on this one. What the hell is this hole? The PCV??? I couldnt set the timing cause the light would not work so I still need to do that but even if I rotated the distrib it made to difference.
Thanks guys.

here is the new motor

So do I still need the little black box that was attached to the block of my old engine?

So becides the timing, what else do I need to tune up? I put a new crank pully on, new cam gears, new timing belt as well as had the whole head apart and cleaned up.

No you don't need the box. They do not come on 96+ B18B's, or 97+ B20's. They have the PCV valve in the valve cover, no box.

Ignition timing? Warm to operating temp, short service connector, adjust via distributor.
