I knw this isnt ITR related, but I figure you guys might be able to help.

This is using a .030" with a 85mm bore gasket, stock B20 head and a piston with a dome displacment of 2.0cc.

Swept Volume - (85.0 / 2)^2 x pi x 89.0mm / 1000 x 4 = 2019.0985
Piston Dome Displacement - 0.0000x 4 = 8.0000
Combustion chamber volume - 45.0000 x 4 = 180.0000
Headgasket volume (incl. piston to deck height) - (85.0 / 2)^2 x pi x 0.8890 / 1000 x 4 = 20.1682(0.030" + 0.005" = 0.8890mm)

Compression Ratio = (volume at BDC) / (volume at TDC) =

(Swept Volume - Piston Dome Displ. + Comb. Chamber volume + Headgasket volume (incl. piston to deck height)) / (Comb. Chamber volume + Headgasket volume (incl. piston to deck height) - Piston dome displacement)

= 2211.2667/ 192.1682= 11.5069:1 Compression

is dome displacement 2cc? how did you measure this?

im assuming the 89mm in swept volume = stroke

otherwise looks good.

 

I didnt measure the piston displacment..I "picked" the number randomly...to see which piston dome would give me my desired 11.5:1 CR...so I can tell Endyn what I need.

Yes 89 = stroke.

 

Going about it the right way with Endyn huh? Why don't ya just tell them you want the 11.5 CR and then when they give you 14:1 tell them they messed up J/K
