Need to know if I need a ICM to run a MSD digital 6. The directions says to use the wht/ blu wire from the ICM. But cant I just use the YEL/GRN wire from the ECM to send a signal to the MSD digital 6?

The reason I ask is because my ICM is dead and instead of buying a new one for $300 I would rather get a MSD digital 6 for $280

orderd transistors but still need to know if this will work. Some one here must know something about replacing their ICM because of it over heating every time.
