I have an itr motor in a 00 ek coupe ex model I just finished dropping it in using the original obd2b engine harness everything clicked up right excepted the dizzy is a obd2a plug 10 pin and engine harness has 8 pin so I got a obd2a clip and match it to the engine harness there is one more left over the engine speed output (blue wire) at the moment my ECU is in limp mode could this be the problem? I am running a chipped p28 please help thanks

no that's not the problem.. hopefully you connected the wires to the right spot but u will have one left over wire
shoulda bought a rywire conversion plug been easier

Yes the Ecu was chiped correctly
