i have a JDM H22 with a cracked distributor cap. i already found out the USDM 92-95 caps dont work. But i heard that the 94-95 Accord EX cap will work. Is this true?
Also since ive installed the swap my vtec never substanstially engages to the point where im satisfied. my vtec never engages like my friends 01 prelude. is this normal for JDM H22's or is there something wrong with my solenoid or some other issue?

get an internal coil cap if you have a internal coil. all caps are changable I would think?. you can't compare two cars togeter, he might have a upgrade header and you might have a stock. he might have a high flow muffler whichs makes the "vtek" sound louder, how can you be satisied with vtek, it's only vtek it's not turbo, and you have a prelude, it's heavy. i know, I have one too, go get it dyno and you'll know the power. mines did 190hp with cams. I did 165 stock.

vtek? lol
well we both have the same mods. i dont have a prelude. i have a H22 swapped CL. i could care less about the sound of vtec engagement. im more concerned on the feel of it. on my motor you could hardly tell when the crossover is happening.
