Make sure the screw is actually tight and snug..
If there is a little bit of play, then try some threadlock..
If there is alot of play try a bigger bolt/screw..
The rotor may spin at speeds of 7500+ rpms , but a high amount of torque isn't needed to hold it into place...

I had the same fuggin problem a while ago. I noticed that everyonce in a while my car would miss a little when accelerating from a stop. I did a complete tune up a while back and noticed the screw for the rotor fell out WTF!!!! I just used a small amount of locktite. I can still take the screw out also!!

Ya defenitely "small amount of loctite".
Unless you want to break the rotor to get the screw out, don't use too much.

That stopped your car? I drove around for 2 weeks with the screw sitting inside the cap. Good thing the magnets are in there to stop it from moving.

My screw put a hole in my dist. cap. Somehow it shot out or something and cracked my cap and half of the screw was hanging out-- that's when I knew about mine.

Yeah, the cap screw came out and the rotor spun freely on the shaft it sits on. IE timing was fubar'd.

Mine came loose...put a hole through the leak cover and busted the cyp sensor (code 9). Had to replace the distributor housing.
