Default Differential ring gear

I just broke EVERY ONE of my spider gears in my diff
Got another diff and put it in...
After fully assembling the tranny the guy that pressed the bearing onto the diff tells me that the diff I put in has 2 more teeth on the ring gear..
How will this affect the car.

HELP
THANKS

My original diff is a B16 (00) and my replacement is also surposed to be from another B16..

But I guess not..
However to day I'm going to change it back(put my original ring gear on) because the guy( who pressed the bearing on) said that it will make a noise due to improper fitment..
