Differences Between B18B and B18C1 block?
If I was going to build a "MILD" street engine, which would be your BLOCK of choice? The B18B and the B18C1? I'm new to the Honda Game, so I'm still trying to learn everything I can....
Are there any differences between the two, and if so, which one is better?
Thanks,

See that's the thing; I don't know the differences between the two; I'm just wondering what the differences are.....

then decide which you want. Vtec or non vtec motor. Then come back here and ask what you couldn't understand from the link.

Cool, cause then you can always build a lsvtec in the future if you desire. That's a B18B block with a vtec head. The B18B non-vtec 1.8L is a gecent motor to start with, what car is this going into?
the b18c has vtec, much better cylinder head (stock vs stock), slightly less displacement.
depending on what you do, the gsr is a better platform to work with in my opinion, but it also costs quite a bit more.
for a mild street engine without alot of work, the gsr would be the winner.
