difference between b18a and b18b block?

Default difference between b18a and b18b block?

is there a difference between the b18a and b18b block? except for the fact that the b18a came out of the generation below the current tegs.

I dont think so. i think the only difference between the B18a and B18b is in the head. hope this helps

accualy both the head and the block are exactly the same. the only diffrence between the 2 are the cams and maybe the intake manifold........

A has 130HP, B has 140.

B18b has a few more sensors, and some of them are in different locations. Their different OBD's.

B18A1 came OBD0 (130HP)90-91 and OBD1 (140hp) 92-93..
B18B 94+ is OBD1 or ODB2, 142hp.

whatever u do, dont get a b18a. just get a b18b whatever u do. IMO b18a's are still fine motors, but i'd step up and go with a b18b1.....the 92-93 is definetly much better than the 90-91.
