Default Duty Cycle

While conducting a private track day I noticed that my data was posting duty cycle above 80% from time to time with the max being at 100% for a half a second at one point. At what point should one move up in the injector size? I heard the rule that 80% is the threshold but I wanted to hear from some experts on this on.

Upgrade to larger injectors.
It would be horrible for you to lose an engine to an injector failure.
I would run a larger injector with less fuel pressure so that if I ever needed more fuel, I could just increase the pressure a bit.

you want to keep your duty cylce around 80-90% its not bad thing you hit 100% but your injector is completly open. If it faiels and cant provide enough fuel then kaboom everything goes. so i would listen to the above post and get larger injectors. if you need some contact me.

An upgraded injector is far cheaper than a blown engine.
