yea, i already knew about the rods, and the compression, but i wasnt sure if you really had to hone the block or not, but im just gonna go ahead and save a little more money and buy some bigger cams or higher compression aftermarket pistons. late

 

ctr rods are 137mm.. NOT 143!!

and yes, pct pistons in a b16 (stock bore, stock gasket and 0 machining) is 11:1..

 

you have to hone the cylinders to give the rings a nice "rough" finish to seal on.. if you're going to the trouble of replacing them go with os'd for the additional cc's.. every little bit helps right??
