datalogging not working?

Default datalogging not working?

i'm using a p06 ecu

ok we have the pins in the ecu...and plugged the xenocron datalogging cable into it and into the laptop...we cut j12...we've tried to run freelog and uberdata....we thing on the cable flickers a green light but we're not getting any response from the laptop...what could be the problem?

Could be anything man. I'm trying to do the same thing using ECU Control and Crome.

Did you install the datalogging plugin on your ROM?

The support for DIY ECU modifications SUCKS... trial and error unfortunatly.

i hooked the cable into the laptop and it said new hardware and we installed it onto the laptop...

am i suppose to just cut one side of j12 or remove it completely?

well it datalogs on uberdata for just a second and then it stops...and it will log and then it won't...i dunno whats wrong with it...i checked the solder connections and they are nice and strong...

Uberdata requires j12, I do not recommend ubderdata.

1. Make sure quick datalog + rtp is installed onto the eprom/ecu you are trying to log with.
2. Make sure j12 is removed
3. Make sure your datalogging cable is pined out properly
4. Make sure your port settings in crome/laptop/serial cable are setup properly
