maby you guys can help, I've got a 90' ls w/ 1st gen jdm b16, the check engine light comes on some times, pretty much first drive of the day, its weird, but it only comes on once the engine has warmed to normal opperating temp., it runs fine, vtec engages correctly, not running rich, so my vtec and o2 sensors seem to be wired in fine. check engine light comes on when I begin decelerating most of the time. all fluids are topped off. Ecu wont spit me a code, any ideas???

 

if the check engine light is on, it should have a code. you have to read the code before shutting off the engine.

When the engine light comes on, turn off the key, shut off the engine. Then turn the key back to ll position. Take a look at the LED on the ECU and refer to the Helms manual for the code.
