Default d16z6 tranny on a d16y7

I recently picked up a 92 Si tranny, I got a 97 CX hatch, now I want to swap trannys, I understand all D series bolt up to d series (of course hydro-hydro, cable-cable) ... but my Q is that will the clutch be the same or diff (probally diff, and no problem there)...the thing is that if it's differant will the PP have to be changed? what about teh flywheel?

I dont care the tranny's gonna sit there t'il my clutch goes (soon) but I am just wondering should I start lookin for a pressure plate and flyhweel off a junked car? no point of buying it if mine works though...

thanks

a9 pistons. so far i've only known one case. an all motor ex. p&p'd head, cams&cam gears, i/h/e. running mid to low 14's. it was a story from someone who tried to sell me a magnaflow muffler for $50. come to think of it, he sounded so anxious to tell me, the whole incident. why not try it. and post some numbers too. he mentioned, it made 140 horses at the wheels, and more at the flywheel.

good luck

edit: ok i'm a clutz. wrong post. LEB? you get the point right?

forgot to mention... a used magnaflow muffler, canister type, stainless steel, 2.5, cutoff at the b-pipe, was used witha straight-through...

for $50, it isn't bad. although i am in the market for just a regular looking muffler. ES is in my head at the moment.
