Default D16A6 / D16A8 / D16A9

What's up? I looked up on the internet but couldn't find anything that would answer my question. I wanted to know if the D16A8/9 would fit a 1989 Hatch without any mods, and if it would bolt on to my stock transmission. Thanks

even if it is the DOHC engine (d16a8/9) from Japan? I need to know because if it works out good it is far way the best bang for my buck...I'm on a really low budget and I want some power in my ride, so I thought about this engine that I've never seen many info about, mostly d16a6 from the Si. Thanks joethejoeman
