Default d16 axle help

I snapped an axle at the track friday night. I'm pulling the axles out right now and there is a bit of a problem. The end of the axle is snapped off inside the tranny on the pass side.

Any help on how to get it out would be great!!!

You can stick a small screw driver through the other side and tap it out, but this can be tricky because the pinion shaft sits in the middle.

You could do many things to get it out, like welding a bolt to it. I would try the first method, and then pull the case apart. If you can tap it out and make sure everything comes out, the snap ring and all.
