d16 all motor
what kind of power is it possibale to get out of a d16z6 or d16y8 engine?
has anyone tried crower cams? what about higher compression pistons?
are intake manifold exchangable between D and B series motors?
and the final question, is the cankshaft-belt pulley bolt reverse threaded? (d16z6 94 ex)
thanks.

1) All motor, no juice or FI, I'd say 160-180hp.
2) Crower is great. I'd go with JE Pistons and rings IMO.
3) The intake manifolds are NOT interchangable. Venom makes a good IM for the D16.
4) Not sure on your pulley bolt. I wouldn't change the pulley anyways. Alternator pulley only. And that's not really worth it to me. I've done it.

That depends on how radiacal you are willing to go. If you had a JG 1.8L sleeved block, fully ported head with big cam, individual throttle bodies, and 14:1 compression, you would be over 200hp easily.
what about throttle bodies between B and D series motors?
Swappable.....look for any of the B series or H series. 58mm (Measured by SGT)
or go with an even larger Type R witch is 62mm.
EX intake manifold is the best flowing of the D series. (Y8!!)
