D15B7 swap to JDM D15B7 Help!
Back ground -
This is a 1993 Civic DX, swapped my daughters blown motor for JDM of same type. Actual phyiscal swap went fine, but I think I have a timing problem. Even though I have used the wooden dowel method and found TDC and the Distributor looks as it is pointing at number one, the car idles very rough and lacks power.
When I try to move the distributor it has NO effect of the idle of the motor. Which I think is very strange.
My friend used timing light, but is unsure of the timing.
Question – Is there anything else I need to change for the swap? This was a long block to long block swap; I used the same TBI, Intake and exhaust, MT from the previous motor.
No CEL's
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!
