just have a few questions regarding the d15b vtec.
1st, my friend recieved one that was from an automatic, what i wandering was if there are any diffrences in the cam profiles, like there is with dohc?

2nd, are all the parts such as the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump the same between the d15b and the d16z?

Any help would be appreciated.

I actually plan on using a p28, since p08 are like impossible to find.

 

Are you asking if the cam profiles on a 5speed d15b vtec motor are different from automatic d15b vtec motor? if you are, then yes. The cam profiles on d15b non-vtec 5-speed motors are smaller than those on automatic d15b non-vtec motors. So, it should be the same with the d15b vtec motors
