Hey,
I've got a D15B non vtec in a 91 Civic Hatch and my question is does anyone know the specs on this motor? I put a 91 Civic Si MPFI swap on it and the motor runs good, but I'm just wondering how similar this motor is compared to a d16a6. Are there differences in the heads? In the cams? I had a D16A6 in the car with I/H/E on it with the Si MPFI of course and the car was strong and ran 15.7's, but now with the same mods including the Si MPFI the car is weak. I know my stroke it down, but is that where I'm getting most of my power loss? The car is strong in the mid range and then torqueless in the top end. Plus the car sounds a lot louder, but it's the same intake and everything.
Remember this is a non vtec D15B (just d15b). I think it's the EDM D15B that was carbed. So I've heard it was rated at 100 Hp and 12.4 torque in kgm (what is that in ft lbs. ?). Does anyone know any differences compared to the D16A6 please let me know.
thanks for anything you've got.

if your talking about the crx si engine the only difference is the cam and the displacement.

So basically if I just drop in an A6 cam then the heads are basically the same, right?

youll need a adjustable cam gear or possibly the a6 gear also. because i believe the cam will be a few degrees off

Please anyone have anymore info for me?
I'm also wondering if all PM3 heads are the same as far as design, flow, valve size, etc. I know the cams in them may be different, but is everything else the same? My Head says PM3-12, I think the D16A6 has PM3-6, so do the numbers after the PM3 mean a different cam?
