Default d15b motor swap problems

swapped a d15b vtec in to a 90 crx si. with a obdo ecu non vtec. obdo distributor that will not mount properly. i can get the car to run rough but to keep it running we have to turn the distributor past the mounting brackets. anyone else had this problem??? or if any one has any solutions. because getting a obd1 ecu and distributor means we have to modify the wiring harness. please help.....

What's wrong with having to modify the harness? You can probably get all the info you need right here in Honda-Tech.
