Alright I remember reading somewhere about different rod and piston combinations that fit in a d series motor. Does anyone know these combinations or where I can find them.

i believe ls rods are plug n play for the wimpy d series rods. not sure about d15's but for the z6 they bolt rite on

 

toyota corolla r/p for FI. i think its the corolla...well someone sells them in FI classifieds

 

I think you're thinking of Turbopanda's Supra piston/B16 rod combo. He said this combo would enable you to run like 1.4 bar on a d16, though you have to put notches in your block to allow clearance for the B16 rods.

dont think theyre supra pistons

Toyota 1G-GTE pistons . at least not turbo supra ones.
