Default d-series cranks

posting this for a friend... got a d16y8 with a spun #4 rod bering, i have a crank from a d16z6. just making sure they are interchangeable. going with eagle rods, and je pistons for FI setup, any input appreciated thx.

Well I don't have a definante answer...but you can use one of those rulers that has the two arms on it....I can't remember the name, but I think there called a something gauge. Looks like this

Anyways get the diameter of the main journals and the rod journals and see if there the same dimensions.

well i think i'll just take both cranks to the machine shop with the block, i'll have him check them out by the way isn't it a micrometer what you were speaking of? thanks for you posts guys
