cyp sensor questions
i already asked this in the egforum but in case they didn't know here it is...i put a 97 b18c1 into my friends 95 integra i have a cel i haven't run it on the scan tool but i know its the clyinder postion sensor cause i didn't hook it up. i was wondering if anybody knew the ecu pin location on a p28 for this sensor. thanks guys
The other sensor is on the oil pumps outer casing, it the CSFS. OBD2 cars have both sensors, but the CSFS only measures the rotational crankshaft speed.
Are you sure it measures vibration?
I always thought the CKF (Crankshaft Fluctuation Sensor) was used to monitor crankshaft speed to detect misfires. If there was a misfire, the crankshaft would have SLOWED down, the sensor reports this to the ECU, and upon looking at the distributor siganls, it will also know which was the offensive cylinder.
Anyone else have info here?
